Discover what customers and international judges have found - a tradition of excellence. After studying winemaking in Germany in the 1950s and teaching winemaking in the U.S. since 1960s, Dr. Wolf established Conneaut Cellars Winery in 1982 in the beautiful family resort and historical area of Conneaut Lake. The winery produces over 7,000 cases of wine and performs all winemaking operations on location with modern equipment and in a distinctive style compatible with the Lake Erie microclimate. The wines cover a broad spectrum of tastes (25 choices from sweet to dry) from the farm wines of our grandparents through the noble Vinifera of world fame. Visitors are welcome to spend time at no cost to sample award winning-wines, tour the bonded cellar and oak barrel room, and browse the unique gift shop.

The first year we had hooks, bobbers, fathead minnows, and night crawlers. We have grown into a full bait and tackle shop as well as a wholesale bait dealer for eastern Ohio, southwestern New York, and western Pennsylvania. Most recently, we agreed to supply a full line of bait to the Gander Outdoor stores opening up in our region.  We also carry a  small supply of hunting necessities.  Marburger teas and milk as well as an assortment of other beverages as well as cooler ice can also be bought here. We are the last bait shop on route 6 in Pennsylvania.  We strive to have the best quality bait and top notch customer service. We are dedicated to encouraging the next generation to get out and enjoy nature. Our motto is:  Take a kid fishing! Have a nice day!
