Icehouse Park: Music at Sunset

When a USO show is about be cancelled because a certain famous singing trio of sisters fails to show up, three male stage hands decided to fill their (sensible) shoes and prove that the show must go on!  A hilarious musical filled with lots of laughs and some fantastic jukebox tunes of the Great War!

Using Reclaimed Materials to Create Jewelry

Did you ever think of crocheting metal or using old jewelry to make new jewelry? In this class, students will create unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry using reclaimed materials, along with learning different beading techniques.

Sculpture

August 11 - 15, 2014 ~ Meadville Council on the Arts, Meadville Market House, 2nd floor, Meadville PA
Students will use many different media to explore 3-D spaces. Found objects will be used to create a relief sculpture, while wire will be used to create a kinetic sculpture. Students will also create a free standing sculpture using plaster.

Conneaut Lake Area Historical Society's Ice House Shore Home Tour

August 16, 2014 ~ 150 N. Third St., Conneaut Lake PA
The tour includes six homes and starts with a continental breakfast at 9:15 a.m. at the museum. The tour follows from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Guests receive a program, map and instructions at that time. Tickets are $25.00 The homes are all lakefront and is from the western end on Aldina Drive to the east side to Lake Shore Drive. All proceeds are used for operational expenses of the historical society's museum.

Christian Kuharick - Vessels: Rituals & Traditions

Christian has been using clay as his primary medium of expression for the last 17 years. He teaches and runs the Ceramics Dept. at Penn State University's Shenango campus. Christian recently opened Circle K Studios, where he teaches pottery classes and rents to other artists in Sharon, PA. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and has exhibited in one person shows throughout the Eastern United States.

Crawford County Fair

The Crawford County Fair is the largest agricultural fair in Pennsylvania. The fair features plenty of amusement rides, displays and lots of good food.....  truck and tractor pulls, demolition derbies, agricultural and livestock entries and judging.  The Crawford County Fair also features "Big Name" and local entertainers.

GeoTrain
