Tarbell House Public Tea

February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, 2018 ~ Tarbell House, 324 East Main St., Titusville PA

Student re-enactors portray Titusville people of yesteryear while they serve a leisurely four-course menu. Advance reservations are required. Cost is $15.00 per person.

The Tarbell House was constructed in 1870. It's been restored to that period, when it was the childhood home of Ida Tarbell, one of America's foremost investigative journalists. 

Tea is served at 4:00 PM. Please arrive by 3:30 PM to include a house tour.

The Little Mermaid

But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea. Some of Disney's most popular songs are featured in the show, including: "Part of Your World," "Kiss the Girl," and the Academy Award-winning Best Original Song, "Under the Sea" by the songwriting team on 8-time Academy winner Alan Menken and the renowned Howard Ashman.

Peter Pan

Make friends with the Lost Boys, Princess tiger Lily, and Tinkerbell, and triumph as you outwith evil Captain Hook and his band of pirates. As a note, this is the original, non-musical version. Directed by Geoff Hall and Alicia Greathouse, this all-youth production will make everyone feel like a child again. "Peter Pan" is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. EQUUS Film Festival

April 20, 21, 22, 2018 ~ Park Avenue Cinemas, 960 Park Ave., Meadville PA

The documentary will be part of the EQUUS Film Festival that kicks off in New York City in November with a stop in Meadville in April.

The "Spotlight Rescue Series: The Hanging Barn" highlights the story of 11 horses found in a barn in Strattanville, Clarion County, in May 2016. Six of the horses were rehabilitated by volunteers along with Bev Dee, executive director of Bright Futures Farm equine charity. The farm is a registered nonprofit in its 17th year of helping horses in need. 

Heather Reichel, independent filmmaker and owner of Reichel Films and Zeppelin Views, shot the footage for the documentary.

Civil War Era Quilt Exhibition

Join us in exploring Civil War era quilts (1850 to 1880) with the members of the NWPA Quilt Study Group. This is a rare opportunity to see both vintage and reproduction quilts for their private collections.

11:00 AM:  Lectures: The role of the Sanitary Commission; Quilt styles-Fabrics and Patters of the Era; Pot Holder Quilts
