reMARCable Family Festival

July 1, 2017 ~ Meadville Area Recreational Complex, 800 Thurston Rd., Meadville PA

This is an event free for the community to come out and celebrate their independence with music, food and fun! We will have crafters, entertainment (including the pool), food and drinks sold by local restaurants/vendors, a kid's fun zone, cornhole tournament (pre-register at the MARC), and much more. This fun day will end with a beautiful fireworks display!

48th Annual Townville Old Home Days

July 14, 15, 16, 2017 ~ Downtown Townville, PA

Enjoy some great old fashion fun with family and friends at the Townville Old Home Days. Some of the fun starts with a 5k race, parade, queen pageant, children's coloring contest, corn hole pitch, classic car cruise-in, wagon rides, great food and live entertainment.

28th Annual Wesbury Chicken BBQ and Craft Fair

July 16, 2017 ~ Wesbury, 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, PA

Each year in the middle of summer, Wesbury pulls together a festival that attracts close to 5,000 visitors. Held on campus, this free event is always the third Sunday of July from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. It includes a Family Fun Zone with games and train rides, outdoor and indoor entertainment, crafters and other vendors, and an Antique and Classic Car Cruise In. In addition, the Sunset Auxiliary holds its annual rummage, book and bake sale. Of course, there are chicken and rib dinners on sale that includes several side dishes and homemade pie or cake.

Discovery Days

WWII Re-enactment at the OC&T Railroad, Perry Street Station

July 6, 7, 8, 2018 ~ Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad,Perry Street Station, 409 S. Perry St., Titusville PA

 Join us as we become a military train from the 1940's with German and American Forces fighting for control of the train. Perry Street Station will become an encampment for both forces with displays of uniforms, weapons and vehicles from the era. Trail Blazer 15K Run and 5K Run and Walk

HOTAfest 2017

French Creek Heritage Event

July 14, 15, 2018 ~ Cochranton Fairgrounds, Cochranton PA

This event features: Re-enactments of battles and skirmishes that would have taken place between the various parties involved in the 1763 - 1776 conflict, living history demonstrations pertaining to the trade and commerce of the period, exhibitions of artwork portraying Native Americans and Colonials during the period, speakers and panel discussions on Pontiac's Rebellion focusing on the central role played by the string of forts in the French Creek Valley. Additional exhibits include many artifacts related to the French Creek Valley. Admission is FREE.
